Located on the top of one of the highest hills of the island of Madeira, Choupana Hills Resort & Spa is a luxurious secret living in the green slopes of Funchal, and waiting to confide to you what best silence has to unveil.
Funchal’s heart beats at a 10 minutes distance. A city hugged by water channels, “Levadas” that spiral down to the ocean.

Exit the airport in the direction of Funchal on the bypass. You should leave this at the sign for Exit nº 13 (Jardim Botânico-Camacha) to the right. After you have passed under a viaduct, keep going straight down for approx 2km, where you will find more signs (on the right) to the Jardim Botânico and one for Choupana Hills. Turn to the right and continue on this street until you arrive to the Botanical Gardens which will be on your left hand side.
Turn left immediately to follow the Botanical Garden and continue going up until the Largo de Miranda. At the Restaurante do Miranda, turn to the right and you will enter a street with trees on either side. Keep going up and you are going to pass through 2 sharp bends, one to the left and one to the right. Continue until you find a turn to your left. Carry on for 250 metres and you will find the Choupana Hills Resort and Spa
