Estalagem do Vale is located in the north of Madeira.
One of the inn`s main features is its surrounding green areas. From one of the hotel`s belvederes, you can appreciate the full splendour of the S. Vicente valley. The sweeping horizons, magnificent southern exposure and surrounding scenery lend the area an unrivalled beauty and great sense of tranquillity.
From Funchal, you join the Cota 200 (expressway) in the direction of Funchal - Ribeira Brava. On arriving in Ribeira Brava, you go up to Serra d'Água, from where there are two possible routes to São Vicente: the Encumeada road or the Túnel do Norte (Northern Tunnel). On arriving in São Vicente, you travel for a further 2 km before reaching the Estalagem do Vale.
