Take the A1 heading North, exiting at Torres Novas on the A23. Continue on this road passing through Abrantes and after Covilhã, take the Guarda Sul heading towards the city centre.
From Porto (approx.duration 2hrs15mins)
Take the A1 heading South (Sul)
In Albergaria, take the A25 towards Viseu.
In Guarda, take the exit to Guarda Norte towards the city centre.
From Coimbra (approx.1h45m):
Take the IC2 heading North (Norte) The take the IP3 to Viseu. Before Santa Comba Dão turn right towards Mangualde. Take A25 to Guarda. Exit at Guarda Norte towards city centre.
From Faro (approx.4h30m):
Take the A2 towards Lisboa going through Castro Verde until Marateca. Exit A13-N119 until Infantado, take the N10 until Vila Franca de Xira. Here follow the A1 heading north (norte) exit in Torres Novas-A23. Take the A23 through Abrantes and after Covilhã take the Guarda Sul exit heading towards the city centre.
