How to arrive

From Francisco Sá Carneiro airport (Porto) : BY BUS: It's the most practical transportation and takes about 40 or 50 minutes. It works between 05:08 and 01:20. Near the airport, take the bus number 601 (Aeroporto-Cordoaria) and get off at Cordoaria (It is the last stop). From there, it's about 5 minutes on foot. Pass the University building, heading North, pass through the Gomes Teixeira Square (It has a fountain with lions in the middle). On the left side there are two churches. Cross the Carlos Alberto Square and then you can find the Cedofeita Street. Walk two more blocks and you will find Pensão Estoril on the left side, on the number 193. There is also the bus number 602 (Aeroport-Cordoaria - Via Crestins) but it is a longer trip. You should also get off at Cordoaria (It is the last stop). It works between 06:05 and 00:30. BY SUBWAY : Line E. Working hours between 06:00 and 01:00. Take the subway right on the exit of the airport (ticket costs 1.35 Euros). Exit in the Lapa station. In that station, search for the Boavista Street exit. Follow that street for about 30 meter and turn on the 1st street on the left. Keep on that street, cross Alvares Cabral Street and you find Cedofeita Street right after. Pensão Estoril is located about 300 meters ahead. Pass two blocks by crossing Bragas Street (Left side), Torrinha Street (Right side) and Breyner Street (Right side), you enter in a pedestrian only area. Pensão Estoril is right after in the number 193, on the right side. BY TAXI The taxi costs about 18 or 20 Euros. It can carry up to 4 people. BY TRAIN: S. Bento train station: This train station is located right in the center of the town. To reach Pensão Estoril takes only 10 minutes on foot. We advice the following path: Follow Clerigos Street up, Carmelitas Street, Gomes Teixeira Square. There, turn right through Carlos Alberto Square and go straight ahead. Enter Cedofeita Street, which is a walking people only street. After two blocks, you can find Pensao Estoril on the left side, on the number 193. Campanhã train station: The easiest way is to take the bus number 207 and get off on Carmo stop. Then follow Carlos Alberto Square and enter in Cedofeita Street until the number 193. It's about 15 minutes on foot. You may also take the subway (located in front of the train station) and get off in Trindade station. From here it's about 10 minutes on foot. We advise the following path: Dr. Ricardo Jorge Street, Conceição Street and Cedofeita Travesse. After that, you find yourself in Cedofeita Street. Here, turn right and Pensão Estoril is located on the left side about 50 meters away. When you reach Campanhã station, you may also continue the train journey (in the same or changing train) until S. Bento station, which is more central and you can then finish the journey by foot. There is no extra charge for the extra train voyage. BY BUS In Porto there are plenty of bus terminals, depending on the origin, the most common are located in Alexandre Herculano Street (REDE EXPRESSOS) and Martires da Pátria Parc, usually known as Cordoaria (RENEX). From here to Pensão Estoril it's about 5 minutes on foot. Go through Carlos Alberto Square and enter Cedofeita Street. If you are in Alexandre Herculano Street, take de bus number 207 until Carmo. Here, go through Carlos Alberto Square and enter Cedofeita Street. BY CAR From the Airport: You should enter through 5 de Outubro Street and make the round about of Boavista (Mousinho de Albuquerque Square). Get out on the Boavista Avenue (direction of the center of the city). Turn on the first street on the right and go straight ahead for about 400 meters. After entering in Sacadura Cabral street, turn right on the first street and you have just entered Cedofeita Street. From South: A1 (Arrabida Bridge) - Porto exit (Campo Alegre) - Campo Alegre Street - Torrinha Street - Cedofeita Street. In this path, there are direct direction plates for Pensão Estoril. From North: There are many ways for you to use. Follow the directions for the center of the city. In the center, there are many direction plates indicating the way to get to Pensão Estoril. It's very important to have in mind that Pensão Estoril is located in a pedestrian only area, which means that cars can only enter in some parts of the day. If you find trouble to get a parking slot, we advise the use of a parking located in Cedofeita Street number 399. It's a closed parking place and it costs 4 Euros for 24 hour parking.
