15 minutes by from the airport, 800 escudos (7,30 euro.)
2 minutes from the "Praça", 150 escudos (1,30 euro.)
By foot:
1- Go to the “Praça Nova” (also known as “Praça Amilcar Cabral”). It is located right in the town centre, in the middle of the “Avenida 5 de Julho” where the TACV office is.
If you are lost, ask around, everybody knows that square.
2- Once at the square, spot the Telecom office on the South end and the Bank offices on the East end. Head East to the "Lumumba" street and pass the Telecom office (to your right). Cross the “Avenida Baltazar Lopez da Silva” junction and continue uphill in "Camoes".
The street ends up after about 50 yards in front of an orange building.
There choose the oblique steep ramp that starts at the left of the building. At the top of the ramp make a right and after 20 yards take the curve to your left that goes uphill (a big orange house is at the left corner and white plots line the street on the right). Windelo is the third house to your left.
8 minutes walking from the "Praça".
