Solar dos Marcos is a historic palace reconstructed from an old episcopal residence (18th century), located in the village of Bemposta, where D. Manuel Martins Manso, bishop of Guarda, was born and lived.
The hotel is situated in the Nature Park of the International Douro (also named after "Arribes del Duero"), 10 minutes far away from the Spanish border and a must-see spot to enjoy this unique region with nature treasures, ancestral traditions and friendly people.

Extra beds and cots
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.
Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.
