About 8 km away from the main road, access is by paved road along the coast and through the Atlantic Forest. Praia da Fortaleza is surrounded by lush vegetation with calm waters and with little movement most of the year. In high season it offers good beach support services with good restaurants and various water activities.

Dura Beach of Ubatuba
Publicado por: Toni Martins em 2022-02-14
For those looking for peace and an involvement with nature, Praia Dura has all that to offer. Located next to the main road BR101, Praia Dura, nestled in the Atlantic Forest, offers you temperate and clean waters and an environment of total tranquility. Praia Dura is formed by compact and darker sands, of the monazitic type, which makes it attractive for people who like to be treated with this type of sand. This beach doesn't have kiosks, so it doesn't have any beach support, so you should take everything you'll need with you.

Praia Brava de Ubatuba
Publicado por: Toni Martins em 2022-02-14
Praia Brava is one of the most beautiful and pleasant beaches in the beautiful region of Ubatuba. Little frequented, Praia Brava is nestled in the Atlantic Forest, where access is via a 5-minute trail through dense vegetation. Clean waters, without currents or dangers, Praia Brava de Brava only has its name. To get to Praia Brava you need to walk about 7 km through a narrow but paved road (with some holes) but it is worth it. On the beach there is a small bar with drinks and sandwiches, you can also rent chairs and umbrellas to avoid having to carry weight to reach the sand.

Historic village of Mambucaba
Publicado por: Toni Martins em 2022-02-15
For those traveling along the BR101 between Angra dos Reis and Parati, you hardly notice the beautiful village of Mambucaba. The origin of Mambucaba dates back to the end of the 16th century, having been an important point for whaling in the beginning. From the 18th to the 19th century, Mambucaba was an important coffee exporter and slave importer to the Paraíba Valley. Today Mambucaba is one of the beaches chosen mainly by Brazilians from neighboring cities who come here to enjoy the beautiful beaches.
