The 500 Years Memorial is located at the top of Porchat Island and is also known as the Niemeyer monument (since it was the work of the architect Niemeyer).
The Memorial gives you one of the best visits in the region.
There is an excellent restaurant next door (Terrace, restaurant and taproom)
