Publicado por: Toni Martins em 2022-02-23
The medieval bridge of the castle of Paderne, or also called the Castle Bridge, due to several similarities with the bridges of Roman construction, for a long time it was called the Roman bridge but in reality it will have been built in the middle ages.
Access can only be made on foot as the old road that gave access to it is damaged.
Next to the bridge are ruins of an old water mill and a bread oven.
The bridge is located about 300 meters straight from the castle, but to reach the bridge it is necessary to walk about 2 km.
